*Here is the Job Description*: *Sr. Project Manager 12 months Broomfield, CO* 5 years’ experience managing multiple complex telecom projects Must have at least 7 years of Project Mgmt exp Telecommunications experience is a must *Job Responsibilities*: - Single point of contact from customer to deployment - Develop full-scale program/project plans and associated communications documents. - Accountable to executive sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements. - Leads high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development - Reviews/approves project plans for conformance to program strategy and program plan and schedule - Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates - Escalates decisions to executive sponsors as necessary - Should manage stakeholder relationships - Understands Project management Process and has hands on experience on MS project *Skills Required*: - Understanding of Telecom Network - Project Management skills *Description*: • ISP experience, Program Management Methodology, budget management, change control and cost control • Central Office and Access experience, familiar with large access/cell builds (200+) • Manages small, medium and large from simple to complex projects • Runs projects to deliver on-time, within budget and per customer specifications in accordance with Project Management Methodology Guidelines • Identifies and manages third party vendors as required to generate sufficient bids to ensure cost competitive quote submissions • Identifies skill set requirements for projects to ensure qualified personnel are assigned to projects/programs • Translates generalized customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical plans • Evaluates complex situations accurately and identifies viable solutions that create successful outcomes for the customer • Analyze customer satisfaction, implement lessons learned and best practices. • Works closely with Program Sponsor to facilitate decisions necessary for program delivery • Oversees effective project oversight and reviews to effect program success • Oversees development of proposals and requests for proposals associated with the program • Oversees vendor relations and procurement related to the program • Oversees execution and delivery of projects related to successful program execution *General Qualifications*: • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills • Understanding of the strategic and operational issues of the project and business unit • Liaison and consultative skills; negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests • Demonstrated ability in managing internal and external client expectations on program requirements and deliverables • Ability to identify risks and potential project issues and to know when and how to escalate proactively • Skilled at requirements analysis and management • Strong writing, mentoring, negotiation, communication and meeting facilitation skills; ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets • Strong integration skills; ability to coordinate all aspects of a project or program • Ability to manage in a matrix environment *Suggested Experience and/or Education*: • 7+ years project management experience • Experience with managing multiple high-risk projects desired • Telecom experience required *===================================* *Best Regards, * ** *Sam Nelson* *Sr. Technical Recruiter Direct: (281) 670-9343 Email: *snel...@gm-infotech.com ** *Houston, TX 77062 || United States* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle / Data Warehousing Developers / ETL" group.
