*Here is the Job Description*: *System Administration Pittsburgh, PA (Max Rate: $40/Hr on Corp-Corp)* *18 Months Contract* REQUIREMENTS: - Well-Rounded experience in Windows Server Administration - More than 5 years’ experience in the in the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. -Ability to work independently and correct issues as they arise without supervision. - Proficiency in administering open-source and SQL databases to support the migration effort. DELIVERABLES: Typical Sites Tasks Required: - Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, virtualized servers, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and procedures. - Installs new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements - Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures - Recommends innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks, including virtualized environments - Applies OS patches and upgrades, and upgrades administrative tools and utilities. - Configures / adds new services as necessary In addition the Senior Server Administrator may be required to: - Install DB software/executables to meet SAP standards (drive layout for data files & logs) - Transfer or Replicate Data - Import / Export DB from one DB vendor to another DB vendor - Install and test upgrades and patches *Best Regards, * *Sam Nelson* *GM InfoTech LLC.
