*Position:  IT SECURITY TEAM LEAD*

*Number of Positions: Multiple*

*Responsibilities:*

The IT SECURITY Team *Lead* is responsible and accountable for the quality
of customer service provided by each shift. This candidate will be
successful by leveraging the people, processes and all resources at their
disposal. Team Leads will have prior experience leading and motivating a
team of *security* engineers and analysts. They require deep technical
understanding of the everyday *security* *operations* to make decisions and
to understand priority of workloads. The Team *Lead* will continually
analyze tickets, incidents, and change requests for quality issues and
areas where improvements can be made to processes. There is a need to drive
organizational change from this role and match the goals of the team to
those overall goals of the customer *security* team. There is an
expectation of occasional work outside of shift, including weekly calls,
reporting and IT SEC representation on important calls.

The Team *Lead* will be responsible for the performance of the service and
will be accountable to the IT SEC manager and the customer. The Team
*Lead*will be responsible for assignment of daily assignments, staff
oversight,
and service reporting throughout to the IT SEC manager.

*Qualifications *:

*Required Experience: *

* Bachelor's Degree in Information *Security* Management, Computer Science
or similar discipline is preferred

* 6 or more years in *IT Security*
* Two or more years managing people in an IT or Managed *Security* Services
environment
* Excellent organizational and management skills
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Customer relationship management including escalation management
* Exceptional problem solving skills
* Ability to drive process improvements and identify gaps
* Proactive in engaging with customers, client executives and other teams

*Preferred Qualifications*:


* *Security* Information and Event Management (SIEM)
* ITIL Practitioner certified
* CISSP or CISSM certified
