Position: * RPG Programmer – AS400 (PRMS a plus)* Location: Mahwah, NJ Duration: *9 Months + * Our Client, a World Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an opening for a RPG Programmer with PRMS experience a plus. *P**rimary Responsibilities:* Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. . Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. *Key Knowledge Areas* - *Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in -Specific hardware/software experience required: AS400 application development, testing and implementation. * - Application development experience with RPG (III / IV / ILE), - Embedded SQL, Subfiles processing and CL on IBM AS400 using the relevant application development tools1. - Experience in barcode programming. - Experience using ERP packages (PRMS) or Warehouse Management experience - Past experience providing support to the BAs during testing - Experience with Change Management tool such as ALDON or Implementer or Turnover Experience with Software impact analysis tool such as Abstract or Hawkeye Experience with tools such as EZView, DBU, ROBOT, etc - Experience in an FDA validation environment would be ideal Thanks, VINNI | Oberon IT 1300 W.
