Work Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Duration: 12+ Months
Total experience: 8 years
Pay Rate per hour (payable to vendor): $DOE (Preferred TCS Associates)
Assignment start date: 15-Feb-2014
 
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in the Airline Domain.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst role.
  • Excellence in airline functional knowledge and working experience of BA in large customers.
  • Good to have Consulting experience/Technology expertise.
  • Functional acumen to work with business towards new opportunities.
  • Be flexible and accommodative.
  • Responsible to interact professionally with a diverse group including Executives, Managers and SMEs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a cross-functional environment.
 
Roles and responsibility
  • Interact with business and technical SMEs to gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for the project development.
  • To work with TCS & other vendors towards business solution reviews.
  • Elicit requirements by conducting interviews, data analysis, business process descriptions, Use cases, scenarios, business and work flow analysis.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business units to determine the best possible reporting mechanism.
  • Be a liaison between, development, technology and internal business units.
  • Closely work with QA team to convert the requirements and design into set of test scripts to verify the end client needs
 
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
  • Excellent airline functional knowledge and working experience of BA in large customers.
  • Consulting experience/Technology expertise.
  • Background in airline business functions
