*Position: **Enterprise Data Architect* *Location: Los Angeles, CA* *Duration: Long term Contract position.* We are looking for an *Enterprise Data Architect* to own the end-to-end data architecture for Move and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for designing and driving implementation of data solutions and architectures across all of Move, to support consistent use of data for transactional, analytical, and cross-functional systems. You will design extensible, enterprise level models and promote them across the company. You will be the main driver of data standardization, governance, and quality initiatives, and work closely *with* Moves business and technology teams to ensure consistent adoption and leverage of data throughout the company. *Duties and Responsibilities:* · Define enterprise modeling conventions, standards, best practices, and guidelines · Drive development of multi-year data and information architecture strategy · Establish common tools, repositories, and frameworks for describing data architectures and designs (e.g. enterprise data dictionary, model repositories, etc.) · Facilitate the definition of integrative and canonical views of data or information across multiple content types (structured, semi-structured, or unstructured) · Lead effort to create and enforce data retention, archival, and protection policies · Establish right-sized master data management solution(s) · Create right-sized data governance processes, tools, and teams · Guide and assist *with* migration to new and replacement systems, data conversion, data cleansing, de-duplication, and data maintenance efforts · Contribute in key project design reviews to ensure that application designs adhere to enterprise data architecture guidelines and standards · Monitor industry trends and present technical recommendations to implementation teams and management *Education Skills and Experience:* *REQUIRED* · Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related study or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred. · 12+ years of experience in information technology *with* a minimum of five years of information system design · Expert knowledge around designing and leading *MDM* Solutions. · Expert knowledge in the design and construction of information architectures that enable well-integrated transactional, analytical systems, and cross functional systems · Excellent ability to work *with* all levels within the IT and Business organization · Well versed in the following data domains: Master Data, Operational Data, Analytical Data, Unstructured Data, and Metadata · Experience *with* various integration areas, such as data integration, application integration, business process integration, and UI integration · Hands on experience *with* data profiling tools and processes · Expert knowledge of normalized and dimensional modeling techniques · Proven ability for purposes of analyzing data and/or evaluating how information needs might be translated into back end *database* structures · Experience *with* business intelligence (e.g. multi-dimensional modeling, data mining, predictive analytics, KPIs) · Excellent written and verbal communication skills *with* the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences *DESIRED* · Experience working in a consumer-facing or web-based business · Experience *with* designing paradigms and best practices around instrumentation and collection for clickstream data · Experience working *with* informatica ,Oracle, SQL server and Teradata . · Experience working *with* mid to large scale OLTP and DW systems (5-20 TB) · Prior project or functional management experience · Prior experience in other facets of solution or enterprise architecture -- *Thanks & regards* *Akhilesh* * Recruiter* *KLN**tek* 324 E.
