Position: .Net developer (c#) Duration: 6 months +

Our client, a well established logistics organization headquartered in Syracuse, New York, is seeking a seasoned .NET Developer to join their team on a contract basis. Job Responsibilities: As a C# Developer, you will primarily be focusing on development efforts in support of the development of a brand new high visibility portal application, as well as maintenance and enhancements of other existing application. The developer will also be specifically involved in providing input and recommendations on software design decisions in all of the following areas: •Interface layout and functionality •Database design and implementation •Business logic implementation •Deployment options and considerations Job Requirements: Due to the advanced nature of this role, we are looking for a Developer with a minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in the areas of C#, XML, and pervasive databases (highly desired but not required). Solid understanding of object-oriented design and n-tier architecture. In addition, the ideal candidate would have hands-on experience with the following: •C# and/or VB.Net •.Net Framework 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 •Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012 •Web Services •XML •MS SQL In addition, any prior experience with the logistics / transportation industry is highly desired.
