*Need candidates by COB today latest.* Our Client is currently seeking a Sr. Storage Engineer for our clients TSG Data Center Department in Charlotte. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Essential Job Functions: *Provide Tier 2 support for current and future SAN and Enterprise storage infrastructure at client's TSG Data Center. * Work alongside client's storage engineers and help in all areas including the DR rollout. Support and maintain all aspects of the *SAN and storage allocations, including managing FC switches, drive arrays, and installing and managing all fiber cables* for the infrastructure to accommodate all oncoming DR solutions. Need a strong background in *disaster and recovery designing and operating*. Large scale *SAN and Enterprise storage experience* a must. Job Requirements: This position requires 24/7 operation to support storage allocations for DR and day to day operations. This individual needs to be available via cell phone to respond to all SAN and storage related issues. Must have experience in managing a large SAN and storage environment. Knowledge of EMC hardware, IBM DS8000, SVC and Hitachi AMS1000 products including Brocade fiber switches is also required. Experience with systems and services designed to support multi million customers is highly desired. The candidate must be proficient in supporting both UNIX and Windows systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Have at least five years supporting EMC storage, IBM, SVC and Hitachi.
