This can be accomplished through creating or updating existing software applications and products. They convert project specifications into detailed designs that are used as a blue print to build a solution. Performs a variety of complicated tasks and demonstrates leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ** · Project Related Activities o Plays Project Architect on Infrastructure Projects and Technical Lead and developer on Strategic Projects. o Lead and direct the work of others. o Reviews business requirements and lead the creation of functional specifications o Create Detailed Design Documents o Lead the coding and implementing of new product features. o Diagnose and fix bugs in new and existing code. o Lead peer code reviews · Develops the following standards to be used by IT Automation o Detailed Design Template (Modeling) o Source Code Control Methods o Deployment/Packaging technology & Processes o Peer Code Review Process o Versions of development tools o Coding Standards o UI Standards · Provide input to the Enterprise Architecture Team (EAT) on identifying new Technology categories as well as selecting new Technology and Products. · Provide tier 3 support of automation systems · Exercise our source code control methods.
