knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including DNS - Performance engineering lab
configuration and support 100+ servers - Knowledge of Vmware - Knowledge of
Terminal Servers - Knowledge of networking, ILO configuration, etc. -
Knowledge of monitoring tool - Knowledge of LDAP and Clear Trust

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
This position is located in Whitehouse Station, NJ. SQA&T PE team is
responsible for supporting Performance Engineering efforts for all
applications at Merck & Co.,Inc. Individual we are seeking to maintain and
support SQA&T PE Performance Test Lab environments to assist with
performance engineering services by SQA&T PE team. This person will be
responsible for maintaining 100 plus servers (Windows and Linux) conducting
instalations/deployment, troubleshooting and monitoring of the web
applications which are running on Tomcat (Redhat Linux).. This individual
will be responsible for, among other duties, of new server setup,
provisioning the server and Website monitoring ( opnet tools/ wiley).
Responsibilities include working with customer to understand their
requirements and assist with recommendations/solutions.The ideal candidate
will have extensive experience with networking and Linux/Tomcat/Apache.
