Position: DB2 UDB DBA Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 3 months *Skills Required:* Ø Knowledge of DB2 UDB Version 9 for AIX Operating System. Ø Experience with Quest Foglight and Quest Central. Ø Knowledge with IBM's Data Mirror product. Ø *Position Description:* Ø Perform database administration tasks using IBM's DB2 on Unix. Ø Responsible for physical databases for the DMIH project Ø Design and implement backup, recovery, archiving and conversion database strategies Ø Manage and maintain data in production and test databases Ø Ensure efficient and reliable database performance Ø Monitor database performance Ø Tune database(s) as needed. Ø *Additional Responsibilities/Accountabilities:* Ø Work with development team and other database administrators to coordinate installations.
