*Background*
The client had an immediate need for a highly motivated *Senior Information
Technology Specialist. This senior level technical professional has to be MS
SharePoint* *expert* with very strong development skills in *MS Visual
Studio, InfoPath and SharePoint Designer *
*Skills Required:*
- Must have at least 3+ years of MS SharePoint 2003 and MS SharePoint
Portal Server 2003 experience including development, deployment and
configuration.
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007.
- Microsoft SharePoint Designer.
- Thorough knowledge of* InfoPath* 2007 forms, Form Server.
- Extensive Web development programming experience on MS platform
using HTML, DHTML, XML/XSL, .NET (C#, VB.NET ) software engineering
experience. Experience developing solutions for Microsoft
.Net platform
using SharePoint technologies.
- MS SharePoint Services 2.0 and 3.0, and/or SharePoint Custom Web
Part development experience. Extensive design experience for
customizing
SharePoint templates, style sheets and interfaces.
- Experience with implementation and integration of SharePoint
Reporting Functions, SharePoint Integrated Documentation Management
functions and the ability to provide enhanced executive
dashboards, data
exploration and operating reports.
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 certification
(Application Development) is a strong plus.
- Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 certification
(application development) is a strong plus.
- Be able to contribute to typical administrative activities such
as installation, configuration, backup, restore, site
creation, and user
issue resolution.
- Must have the ability to architect a technical solution,
including detailed written/visual documentation with strong
Analytical and
Problem solving skills.
- Solid communication skills both verbal and written.
- Practical knowledge/Understanding of UML and/or other technical
documentation standards.
*Education Required:
*Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years experience in
application development and/or consulting (or combination of education
experience to a minimum of 8 years).
Candidate will conduct specific tasks that may include:
- *Prepare and submit architectural recommendations* for that will be
used to establish a functional SharePoint environment.
- Develop, participate in development, and/or lead development in
the delivery of technical solutions.
- Define the technical requirements for implementing and deploying
SharePoint environment that will support DEADA efforts.
