If you are comfortable with this position respond back to me with your availability * *Title: **SAS IS Project Leader* *Location: Fairfield, NJ* *Duration: Longterm* *Rate: **BEST * *Description* *Position Title: SAS IS Project Leader * * The Incumbent will:* *- Develop new SAS applications with Web front end;* *- Use SAS BI/DI technology to develop interfaces to multiple data sources for upload to a data warehouse.* *- Use SAS technology to create complex reports that can be rendered either through SAS web report studio or java based web technology. Knowledge of BI methodology and advanced reporting methods is a plus.* *- Understand CDISC SDTM specifications. Apply knowledge to support SAS DI based application that creates FDA submission required datasets. * *- Support existing Clinical Applications in the Global Drug Development Group (GDD);* *- Research and evaluate new techniques evolving in the market for R&D;* *- Consult with the Project Management Team in GDD to identify technical solutions for customers * *- Interact with various global business clients, cultures, and work ethics, in a team environment and contribute to resolving issues and problems that typically arise during archiving projects (e.g. legal and compliance issues, old technologies, unavailability of business owners); and * *- Provide effective business solutions when asked, and be able to propose alternate solutions when applicable. * *Required Qualifications:** * *- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field and eight plus years of current, documented Information Technology experience, OR Masters Degree with six years current, documented Information Technology experience, OR ten plus years current Information Technology experience;* *- Minimum of six years current, documented IT project management experience (experience with at least eight full-life cycle projects).* *- Minimum of five years current experience managing global project teams;* *- Minimum of three years current, development and programming experience with SAS DI (Data Integration) and BI (Business Intelligence) platforms that assist with clinical research and drug development processes;* *- Strong experience with JAVA, XML and Web development;* *- Must have SDLC Process knowledge; * *- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate concepts and ideas related to assigned projects and customer support and have the ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all levels;* *- Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and excellent follow up skills, along with strong analytical and problem solving skills; * *- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in both cross-functional teams and global teams;* *- Ability to execute assignments of high complexity and recommend alternate solutions;* *- Must have proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead large IT projects, handle project control responsibilities, and have the ability to organize and summarize data for decision making as well as technical leadership; * *- Must have conflict management capabilities, strong organizational skills, customer facing experience, and the capability to work thru ambiguity;* *- Ability to make independent decisions within a well-defined area/scope of project, to take ownership of the project, and the ability to work with limited supervision; and* *-Must have the willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.* *Preferred Qualifications:* *- Knowledge in the area of Global Drug Development or pharmaceutical R&D in general will be a preferred;* *Certification by Project Management Institute (PMI) is a major plus;* --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle DBAs" group.
