Job Title .NET Developer
Location: Cincinnati OH
Duration: 6Months
Rate: $42/hr c2c AI
The .NET Developer's responsibilities include analysis, design,
implementation and testing for a Personal Lines policy issuance
software product. This position will involve conversion of a legacy
system written in VB6 with a Citrix connection over to a .Net
platform. This position will involve GUI design for .Net written in
ASP.Net. This resource will be working closely with the business
unit to ensure accuracy in data collection, display, and processing.
Responsibilities Include:
• Participating in GUI design and application development.
• Direct interaction with business units.
• Participating in all phases of the Web development life cycle.
• Co-development with product vendor.
Experience
Required:
o 5+ years of hands-on development experience in .NET design and
development.
o An understanding of the software development life cycle.
o Excellent communication and team skills with the proven ability to
multi-task.
o Able to perform detailed troubleshooting/debugging.
o Willingness to work extra hours as required by workload and deadlines.
o Versatility with regards to changing priorities.
o 2+ years of hands-on development experience in VB.NET, ASP.NET,
ADO.NET, WEB SERVICES
o .Net Framework / Visual Studio.Net (Development Tools)
o JavaScript
o Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
o Windows 98 / XP / 2000 / 2003 Server.
o IIS 5.0 / IIS 6.
o SQL Server 2005.
Preferred:
o GUI development using AJAX
o Familiarity with LINQ and also TFS
o XML/XSLT
