C#/Java Developer / Application supportin Madison, WI. This candidate must
be able to develop VB.Net and C# for 70% of the position, and perform Java
Development for the other 30% of the position. They would give preference
to local candidates that can drive in for an interview.
Position Description:
Application support, maintenance and development as follows:
1. Visual Basic (6 & .Net)/C# tasks (60 - 70%) 2. Java related tasks (30 -
40%)
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Support of existing software engineering tools (upgrade versions,
answer questions, mentor, and documentation) 2. Support of applications
technology projects (code reviews, tool
mentoring)
3. Research and selection of new software engineering tools & technologies
Required Skills:
1. Visual Basic (6 & .Net)/C#/Java Developer - minimum of
2 – 4 years of strong experience with these languages 2. Self motivated
- team player 3. Willing to learn new technologies 4. Excellent
communication skills
Strongly Desired Skills:
1. FileNet experience
2. MQ Series experience
3. Outlook experience
4. Active Directory experience
5. Web services experience
6. ActiveX experience
7. C++
