Network Service Delivery Location: CA (downtown)
Contract to Hire (after 3-6 months) Bill Rate: Doe US Citizens/US Perm Resident Only * Lead the provision of mission-critical data network and information security services for the data center *and multiple offices of a California customer headquartered in San Francisco , as part of a multi-year IT outsourcing contract. . Responsible for the maintenance of high-quality data network services while supporting the implementation of new systems and network upgrades in a dynamic environment. Provide leadership and direction to network and security services team. *Select and recruit team members*. Interface with project managers, other service delivery managers and staff, subcontractors, support personnel, *and other stakeholders*. Directly oversee network services projects. Directs personnel training, mentoring, and assigns increased responsibilities as appropriate. Provide primary customer interface for data network services to the client's Infrastructure Services Team. Interface with Client program and senior management in support of the achievement of service level, financial and personnel objectives. Demonstrated success in leading the delivery of mission-critical *data network services* for internal or external clients, supporting data centers and multiple sites. Experience and training in *project management*, *budget/financial management*, network capacity planning, and meeting operational service levels. Demonstrated success in driving continuous infrastructure improvements while maintaining ongoing operations. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of the products, technologies, and best practices involved in providing secure, cost-effective LAN and WAN services to meet the client's service levels (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, IDS). Ability to interface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel. Experience assessing the performance of subordinates, and coaching them as needed. Demonstrated ability to evaluate the effectiveness of project team and make changes when needed. B.S. degree. PMP, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, and CISSP certifications. Experience managing or working with a network and security operations center.
