Title:     Business Analyst
Skills:     Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project,
Internet, and graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or
InDesign or other publishing software a plus)
Location:     ny, NY
Pay rate:     Open
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities include:

 This position will be responsible for assisting the Vendor Management
organization with writing and generating various pieces of internal and
external presentations and communications relating to business activities,
and vendor related news including monthly e- newsletters and quarterly
earnings executive update reports.
 Write daily messages to business partner stakeholders on a variety of
subject matter, including sourcing policies, compliance, vendor spend,
technical information, and enterprise project updates, etc.
 Write, edit and manage vetting process for a range of high profile vendor
management memos/communications, e-publications and presentations
 Edit all customer facing communications to ensure consistent *voice and
branding* of Vendor Management
 Compile data on noteworthy projects completed by Vendor Management team
and develop informative summary reports for business unit stakeholders
 Manage and/or participate in teams to develop communications plans and
internal campaigns for launching new initiatives
 Partner with selected business leaders to increase employees'
understanding of Vendor Management best practices, businesses' strategy, key
initiatives and progress against them
 Develop communications that raise employees' awareness of Vendor
Management messages and strengthen compliance, including written materials
and preparation/editing of training materials and process reports
 Partner with colleagues in World-wide Procurement, Finance and Legal to
create integrated plans for consistent internal and external messages
 Assist in responding to vendor emails and calls
 Develop and manage team communication calendar for all internal business
stakeholder groups
 Work with Vendor representatives to coordinate monthly on-site vendor
briefing session
 Assist in developing, implementing and managing enhanced communications
plans such as executive meetings; on-site vendor meetings; employee business
meetings, etc.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
 A degree in Business, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field
 At least 3-5 years experience in a Consulting Environment
 Excellent project management and organizational skills
 Strong technical writing skills and excellent business writing skills, for
all forms of communication, a must. Ability to think strategically and write
about the business, i.e., strategy, transactions, connecting the dots about
momentum across various businesses and regions
 Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
 Ability to synthesize a vast amount of information (data or financial)
into succinct, compelling messages
 Self-motivated team player who has the ability and willingness to work in
a small-team setting, assist wherever necessary and be generally proactive
on whatever needs to be done
 Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and a keen
attention to detail and accuracy
 Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure within tight deadlines
 Ability to multi-task, exhibit flexibility and remain responsive as
demands change
 Proven fact-checking, research and analysis skills
 Demonstrated success and growth in previous positions
 Internal web content writing and development, a plus
 Strong verbal communication skills also required.
 Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project, Internet, and
graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign or
other publishing software a plus)
 Knowledge of the IT and pharmaceutical industry, a plus
