Database Engineer - Analyze exception counts to find inconsistencies in exception repair - Monitor exception counts week-by-week to monitor and support continuous exception clean-up - Develop and run SQL queries for data analysis, transition queries to R&D for inclusion into validations or canned queries - Identify new tools and development requirements for data mining and database checks. - Perform regression analysis of data base features for individual regions and high profile data base features (e.g. Paris ring-road, high profile POIs) - Create containment queries for release risk areas with the Quality team - Represent DBE group in new content projects (e.g. Discover Cities, toll info, etc.) - Collect and prepare input from DBEs (e.g. DERF 82 ‘country exonyms, top25 noisy reports, etc.) - Attend ICE calls and work on corrective actions (e.g. ocean polygon Ukraine/product area inclusion table) Skills: · Undergraduate degree (preferred) in Geography, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Cartography) · 3 or more years of related work experience including one year project management experience · Experience developing and running SQL queries · Advanced organizational, planning, written and oral communication skills · Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, or equivalent) as well as proficiency in project planning, tracking and review of progress and resource allocation and usage · Ability to travel without restriction within and outside the Area Thank you, DBA FYI Center http://dba.fyicenter.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle DBAs" group.
