DUTIES: Focus primarily on supporting IT infrastructures hosting business critical application environments by using multiple flavors of UNIXs. Construct infrastructure models to meet business requirements required for capacity expansions. Gather required information needed for supporting infrastructure by working with cross functional groups. Understand the complex organizational workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces between varying information systems, internal and external process checks and controls, and outputs quickly. Oversee the integration of information system solutions, and build relationships with internal clients. The responsibilities include updating existing documents/runbooks for changes and develop new documents/runbooks as required with a high degree of clarity and technical details. Work closely with other team members for achieving group's goals. The primary work shift will be day shift. The position will require the candidate to be available 24x7 for addressing production issues EDUCATION: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related areas, applicable professional certification with 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT industry is required.
