Requirement: **7-10 Years of experience, showing a progression in the telecommunications field from support through project management, and demonstrating the required skill for this position... **Cisco VOIP implementation specialist with an understanding of traditional telecom. **Bachelor's degree is preferred, with an emphasis in Communications, Information Systems or Math. Consideration will be given to applicants with additional college education and experience levels that exceed the minimum requirements. **CCNA preferred. **Knowledge in the design, configuration and implementation of traditional and IP telecommunication's products and services. **It is preferred for the individual to have experience in each of the two disciplines, data and voice. **The traditional and IP products as well as services include telephone systems (Sys75G1, Cisco Call Manager), telephone sets (Avaya, Cisco) , voice mail systems (Octel, Unity), data communication's hardware (DSU, routers, Ethernet switches, remote access), network services (long distance, calling card, Frame Relay, T-1's, MPLS), and cabling infrastructures (CAT5E and fiber optic). **Project management, vendor/customer relationships and communication skills are required to effectively communicate and complete projects.
