Job Title: Oracle Functional Lead (Order Management and Shipping) Location: Rocky Mount, NC Visa status: H1, GC, Citizen Rate: Open Duration: Full time. Required Skill set: The candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of OM process systems and methodologies with an excellent ability to direct the analysis of future OM process requirements across a wide range of OM applications including Order Management, Inventory Assignment/ Allocation, Shipping, Billing and all related Order Entry to Shipment Execution through Customer Service processes. Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) experience is a plus Documentation of OM procedures for managing Orders *entering, managing approvals, updating, managing holds, canceling, purging, closing orders, picking, staging, packing, order consolidation, loading, and shipping including the translation of requirements into Oracle eBusiness system configurations and set-ups from process ERP implementation experience with the Oracle eBusiness Suite and/or implementing of at least one full life-cycle of Oracle Order Entry to Shipment Execution through Customer Service processes Configuration and set-up of outbound Logistics and shipping related information including Shipping Parameters (Pick Release, Shipping, Transaction, Delivery Groupings, General), Shipping Warehouse, Freight (Freight Carriers, Carrier Ship Method Relationships, Freight Cost and related Freight requirements), Applicable Taxes, Pick List, Bill of Lading, Loading Information, Special Instructions, Lookups, Release rules, Ship Confirm, Invoicing, and Credit information processed by corporate. Information required for other integrated applications such as Core Financials-Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Receivables Working with other ERP teams define multiple organizations in Oracle Inventory as required. Define inventory organizations (warehouses), parameters, sub-inventories, picking rules, a logical organization for receiving purposes for drop ship orders and at least one logical organization for receiving purposes in Oracle Inventory Leadership of user acceptance testing (UAT) including definition and successful execution of business functional scripts Leadership of scrubbing, verification and sign off of the accuracy of OM process related data conversions from the legacy systems to Oracle 11i Acting as the main liaison for all OM process Business Intelligence requirements with direct input to all custom reporting Participation in development and execution of all OM training and related training sessions. Assures that all people requiring training, attend training sessions and are ready to effectively perform their duties after go-live; scheduling of reinforcement sessions as required �� Performing a lead role in the selection, management, motivation and evaluation of the functional subject matter experts (SMEs) for the OM process team. �� Professional certifications like CPIM, CSCP, and/or CIRM would be beneficial. �� Bachelor*s degree in Supply Chain, Materials, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field �� 7-10 years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment developing, leading, and executing ME/Engineering programs �� Six Sigma certification is desired, but a willingness to become greenbelt certified is required �� Expected travel will be 25% on average, but with potential extended stays during implementation or critical points during the project, including overseas travel.
