Database Administrator ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Create and maintain multiple Oracle databases using VMWare · Assure database functionality in multiple environments and configurations · Participate in the quality control aspects of your creations · Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of software, scripts, and release transitions · Provide internal, and occasionally external customer support Qualifications/requirements This is the ideal position for recent computer science graduates or specialists with up to two-years of software engineering experience. Knowledge of Oracle's database and tools, InstallShield, Java and PowerBuilder will be valuable. Business-to-business exposure is a definite plus. Experience using Oracle's database and tools, Microsoft Windows, and PowerBuilder in a software development setting are important.
