*Title: SNMP Developer Job Function: Software Engineer* Location: Fairfield, CT Duration: 6 months *POSITION DESCRIPTION* ** Consulting position to help us define and develop an SNMP strategy for a new family of products. The candidate will be an individual contributor involved in: • Design, Coding, Maintenance and Unit Testing of IP telecom products, in the areas of SNMP Agent and MIB development. • Define, develop, implementation, and testing of SNMP Monitoring Tools for new product development. • The implementation, configuration and testing of open source or commercial network managements tools for the purposes of monitoring our devices. This person will be responsible to drive design documents, functional and technical specifications from other developers on the team. The position requires the selected person to possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The position interfaces with customers, Sales Support, Product Management, and all Engineering development teams. EDUCATION • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required. • Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
