Job Profile: Business Analyst (Low level Position) Location : Minneapolis, MN Duration : 6 months Start Date: ASAP Rate : $27 Job Description: The consultant may perform dual roles in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and providing business research/analytics in developing requirements. Perform analysis of moderately complex-to- complex processes and formulate analysis findings into business requirements and use cases. Responsibilities include: Working with user groups and acting as the conduit between business and technical teams to build application functionality or enhance existing application workflows. Ensure solution meets business requirements and needs. Prepares Functional Design Documents and publishes specifications for systems changes. May identify and implement process improvements. Assist in troubleshooting and decision readiness for deployment to end users. The position is often required to handle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and establish and communicate priorities based on business needs. Required: Excellent understanding of banking systems, products and operations 3-5 years experience as Business Analyst on Software Development Projects Demonstrated ability to write business requirements and use cases Creative approach to business analysis structuring, workflow processing, organization Ability to build and influence relationships Excellent problem solving and issue resolution skills Must be able to work independently and with little direction and supervision (self-starter, creative thinker) Creative management approach (must be able to take a concept, develop the strategy and define the project) Demonstrate understanding of and comfort with technology Detailed understanding and experience working in formal project lifecycle environment Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Demonstrate facilitation skills and the ability to work with various teams in a dynamic Customer service and customer focused experience Strong written and verbal communication skills and a comfort level in communicating with individuals and groups Must be skilled in Microsoft Office products and must be proficient in Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint. REQUIREMENT 2: Job Profile: Business Analyst (Mid range position) Location : Minneapolis, MN or Des Moines, IA Duration : 12 months Start Date: ASAP Rate : $45 Job Description: Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re- engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Job Requirements: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience Technical systems analyst experience Must have solid technical background and knowledge of web development. Professional demeanor and ability to work diplomatically with business users. Ability to work with developers to develop technical documentation. Flexibility and ability to be productive quickly. Good project management skills and ability to organize and manage work tasks and assignment and drive to a quick and successful conclusion. Outstanding written and oral communication skills - will request writing sample and ask to demonstrate writing ability. Must be self-start and able to work without direct supervision.
