Job Description:
Years of Experience: 12 - 15 years software integration industry
experience.
Required Job Skills:
* Top level technical expert in multiple specialized phases of
application development.
* Demonstrated ability of providing Technical Leadership in
delivery of enterprise level, highly visible projects.
* Working in close conjunction with the Business owners to ensure
projects are delivered that meet customer needs
* Demonstrating good organizational skills in order to managing
multiple, concurrent tasks with competing priorities
* Extensive experience knowledge of corporate software development
methodologies – Rational Unified Process.
* Familiar with Rational Rose Diagrams:
o Activity Diagrams
o Class Diagrams
o Package Diagrams
o Interpreting Use Cases and creating Detail Level Designs
o Creating Software Architecture Documents
o Ensuring that all application deliverables are of high
quality and meet functional requirements.
o Ability to read and interpret documents including process,
procedure and technical manuals.
o Working in close conjunction with the Delivery Manager to
ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget, while meeting
customer needs
o Experience in managing vendors to ensure externally
developed software conforms to corporate design and coding standards
o Working independently within guidelines, provides
technical consulting on complex projects considering equipment
capacity, limitations, operating time and desired results.
Preferred Job Skills:
Providing regular, executive level status reports and presentations.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to represent the
project team at all levels of the organization.
Significant experience in defining enterprise-level technology
architecture, including messaging.
Senior quality assurance review responsibilities and duties including
instructing, directing and reviewing work and responsibilities of
other development team members.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication
skills.
Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
of the organization.
