Job Classification: (Lead) Flash Designer Location: North Hollywood, CA (LOCALS HIGHLY PREFERRED) or Non Locals ready for a face to face interview. Duration: 6 + month contract with likely extension Rate : $30 (no negotiation) Skills Required: Adobe CS3 Flash, as well as good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator and Flash Video Implementation, Action- Script, website layout, All designers must be submitted with an online portfolio As a Lead Flash Designer you have a passion and detailed understanding for how next-generation interactive experiences should look, feel and function on the web, today and tomorrow. This includes having an extensive knowledge of usability for websites, portals and web applications. The Lead Flash Designer has the responsibility for leading the design and creative team within the company. Flash Designers report to Creative Director and Art Director. He or she will be responsible for brainstorming original design concepts, and executing designs based on established style guides. Additional job functions include: (*)Training, mentoring as well as maintaining an inspirational atmosphere within the office is also part of this role. A Lead must have a holistic view on each project, making sure the quality is top notch. (*)As a Lead, you also have frequent contact with clients and need to be ready to answer their questions on demand. Applicants should possess an excellent sense of design, animation, motion graphics, multimedia, film & video and timing, and the ability to translate other's designs into Flash. Also required is an understanding of programming constructs, along with familiarity with XML, and experience delivering production Macromedia Flash applications or interactive content. Excellent understanding of best practices in digital advertising development, (i.e. file size limitations, banner standards, measurement metrics and related technologies), digital marketing and messaging for this medium, digital design skills, and knowledge of audio and flash resources. Candidates should have strong skills in user interface design, and attention to quality and detail. The Applicant should have a well- developed communication and organizational skills, with an ability to multitask under tight deadlines. You must be a mature, professional individual who has well-rounded knowledge of development, organizing, mentoring and leading. You need to be flexible in order to quickly switch between tasks and be able to produce at the highest level.
