Jr. SAP Portal Administrator RESPONSIBILITIES: To manage and support a global SAP portals environment. Key responsibilities would include: • Portals maintenance of Support Packs / Support Stacks • Application and deployment of portals packages • Monitoring of system performance and capacity • User management experience which requires compliance with Corporate security policies, SAS-70 and Sarbanes Oxley for security roles and authorizations • Work closely with technical and implementation teams for timely configuration of new customers • Administration of ITS 6.40 • Familiar with Java WebDynpro, Business Server Pages, iViews, Worksets and Roles • Investigate portals related issues and problem resolution processes • Document all portals related processes QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Strong technical understanding and experience in functional aspects of SAP Enterprise Portal. • 1+ years SAP Portals experience as an administrator and a minimum of 1 Project implementation of SAP Portals • Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Portal Solutions and in particular Enterprise Portal 6.0 • Appropriate tertiary level education or equivalent industry experience • SAP R/3 Technical experience (optional) • Additional IT operational experience and asset COMPETENCIES: • Ability to prioritise tasks and time management skills, ability to work across various projects • Consulting skills, understand business requirements the ability to implement them independently • Client focused, demonstrate concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of clients • Teamwork, work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals, working together to accomplish business results OTHER • Proficient with documentation maintenance and creation • Excellent communication skills • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills – work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships and implications • Professional manner and presentation and ability to professionally set, manage and satisfy customer expectations through personal involvement • Methodologies - demonstrate knowledge and application of key methodologies employed by Delivery teams and Project implementation methodology • Awareness and commitment to client service and customer satisfaction and maintenance of the customer SLAs Thank you, DBA FYI Center http://dba.fyicenter.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle DBAs" group.
