If you are comfortable with this position respond back to me with your availability * *Title: Sr. Siebel Configuration Specialist (EAI)* *Location: CT* *Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: BEST * *Required Skills: * *Sr. Siebel Configuration Specialist (EAI)* *Primary Skills*: Siebel Configuration (EAI), Siebel Pharma (ver 7.8 or later highly preferred) *Secondary Skills*: Pharmaceutical syndicated data (e.g. IMS, NDC), collaborative Web tools (e.g. eRoom) *Description*: We have an immediate need for a Sr. Siebel Configuration Specialist (EAI) for a project in Ridgefield, CT starting on Monday, March 2nd. Expenses paid. This role is part of a team of 7. This project has four key components: 1. VISTA (the Client's Siebel CRM application) enhancements 2. Virtual hardware deployment 3. Virtual training 4. Navigator/Nav-Lite (sales reporting tool) enhancements *VISTA** enhancements include*: a) requested changes from sales management to the Coaching for Excellence (PLUS) tool; b) integration with a healthcare professional portal; and c) more importantly, call plan flexibility within VISTA to allow the business to react to market product changes more readily. Scope of Navigator changes is limited to those required due to changes in VISTA. *VISTA** Enhancements*: This work will support the Coaching for Excellence Project and the Integrated Promotion Platform (IPP) Project initiated globally. This effort consists of: o Enhancements to the PLUS tool, which was implemented in an earlier release to improve the effectiveness of the field sales force based on a competency assessment methodology o Integration with the healthcare professional portal where post call activities are sent to the portal from VISTA, and the interaction by the physician in the portal is sent back to VISTA o Implementation of call plan flexibility in VISTA. A call plan is a physician targeting strategy executed by the sales force during a sales cycle. This strategy consists of identifying specific physicians, the number of times they will be called on by the sales representatives, and the products that will be discussed. The capability to modify call plans outside of a sales cycle in VISTA, known as a Plan of Action (POA), is a key driver to addressing changing business needs and market conditions. If a drug is pulled off the market or when a new product is launched, the ability to adjust the sales representatives' call plan outside of the sales cycle is a key success factor in our business model. This functionality is not available today. o Currently, in VISTA, approximately 25% of the addresses are duplicates. By eliminating them, not only is the database size reduced, it also provides our representatives with cleaner data. *General Description of Skills*: • Experience in pharmaceutical industry and validated environments a significant plus • Proven history of success or multiple projects using the described skills • Experience with Siebel Pharma (version 7.8 or later highly preferred) • Strong and demonstrated teamwork and collaborative experiences • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical syndicated data (e.g. IMS, NDC) a plus • Knowledge of collaborative Web tools (e.g. eRoom) • Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple business priorities and timely deliverables • Accurate work planning and execution; accurate project and time tracking *General Description of Responsibilities*: - Create and maintain project documentation defined by the client - Provide formal knowledge transfer of systems and business processes - Hands-on technical and business consulting as well as multi-disciplinary team interaction - Assist in all aspects of requirements gathering as required *Description of Skills*: • 4+ years of project experience configuring Siebel v7.8 or above required • 1 full Siebel implementation using v7.8 or higher • Strong configuration skills using Siebel Tools v7.8 and higher (required) • Strong Siebel EAI skills especially integration with external applications using Web Services (Inbound and Outbound) and ASI (Application Services Interface) is required.
