Experience managing database across geographically separate locations. Clustering and failover / EPP scenarios. Data Warehouse experience - large databases and multiple SQL instances (our total environment is 50TB+). Transactional / web experience preferred. Also, OLAP experience preferred (Essbase, Cognos, MSRS, SSAS) preferred. The manager wants to bring in people who have experience doing a database migration over multiple locations, SQL Server 2008 is brand new so this experience should be migrating SQL Server 2000 to 2005. Replication of databases is also desired.
