*Location: **PLANO**, Texas*** *Duration: 6 months* *Must have EXTENSIVE experience with Informatica running on UNIX with an ORACLE database. Must be an EXPERT in Oracle, Informatica (7.x), Sql, Shell Scripting, and UNIX. MUST BE AN EXPERT with PL/SQL, SQL tuning, operating from the UNIX command line, and performance tuning within both ORACLE and Informatica. Must be able to quickly turn around vaguely defined projects*, with minimal supervision or assitance. A candidate with experience working with multi-terabyte data warehouses and complex mappings that process 100+ million records per day is strongly preferred. *Informatica experience MUST INCLUDE applying business rules with tool...not just migrating data. **MOST RECENT experience MUST INCLUDE a minimum of 6 CONTIGUOUS years of EACH of the following skills... Informatica Powercenter design, development, tuning, etc. Oracle database design, development, tuning, etc. Sun Solaris UNIX environment, shell scripting, operating at command line, etc. STRONG VERBAL COMMUNICATION is a MUST. Interacting with business community/users is a core requirement of the role*. Additional requirements... Candidate MUST possess a STRONG INITIATIVE. Telecom experience is a plus.
