Senior
Programmer/Analyst with significant web application development
experience in Java, preferable in a SaaS environment and some work
with MySQL or MS SQL.
TECHNICAL
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Java
(server-side), JSPs, SQL, JDBC, HTML, CSS, _javascript_ and XML, MY SQL or
MS SQL
Highly
Desired: Tomcat, MySQL, Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, Struts, OJB, Ajax,
Velocity, Quartz, OSWorkflow.
JOB
DUTIES:
Determine
the nature of application issues and collect the necessary resources to
resolve it.
Notify
the appropriate parties as to the problem and resolution.
- Work with the
appropriate department head/supervisor to populate and manage a
Knowledge base program for the resolution of Webassessor
issues.
- Provide custom data
imports and exports.
- Write unit tests for
bugs found where applicable
- Assist with rollouts
as needed
- Assist with data
migration scripts for major releases
- Monitor exception
emails produced by Webassessor and resolve issues as
needed
- Provide development
support for client implementations (date updates, custom coding, xml
configurations)
