Sr. UNIX administrator to sit at their King of Prussia location. Position is to be based in King of Prussia, PA or RTP, NC and may require occasional after hours and weekend work. - Solutions Delivery role for a senior UNIX administrator possessing extensive experience with Veritas NetBackup (version 6.5 preferred) and Sun Solaris. - MUST have vast expereience in Sun Solaris and Veritas NetBackup. Job responsibilities: - planning and leading a major upgrade of the NetBackup infrastructure and client base from version 5.1 to 6.5 and updating operational procedures and documentation. - Storage and Brocade SAN skills also helpful to assist with planned Brocade SAN switch tech refresh work. - Other work includes actioning other UNIX and storage work requests from the business. - Candidate should posess strong organizational, communication and time management skills. - Candidate should have prior experience working in a highly regulated work place and writing technical documentation.
