*Sr. Software Engineer - Web and Java** Contract: 6 Months Start: ASAP Location: Portland, OR * *OVERVIEW/REQUIREMENTS: *Conducts object oriented analysis and design, creates system specifications, develops, tests, implements web applications. Act as the tech. lead for highly complex web projects related to the development of new systems Provide technical direction for projects, engage in all phases of the development cycle. Develop and implement strategies to execute large scale/complex projects through vision. Oversee developments/ensure conformance to performance optimization, interoperability standards/requirements. Provide technical recommendations and consultation on J2EEbest practices using an n-tier architecture. Act as the SME IT in support of the Company’s IT Web strategy and overarching business requirements. Consult and provide direction to the customer w/the highest level of influence. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience of over 8 years. Knowledge of current systems architecture and the clients web environment Strong understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts. Ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
