Location: Portland, OR
Length: 6-9 months Contract**

*KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*
Typically requires a bachelors degree in an engineering discipline, eg;
electrical/electronic.
Twelve years of communication engineering experience with wire based systems
(copper, fiber) and radio systems (mobile, microwave, wireless)
communication; or eight years with a professional engineering license, or
MSEE with emphasis on Telecommunication systems.
Fifteen years network architecture and/or communication engineering
experience or ten years with a professional engineering license or
*MSEE*with emphasis on Network Design and Communication systems.
*Telco Experience and fiber background. *
Broad perspective of the utility business and thorough knowledge of concepts
and systems in the communications area
Working knowledge of all applicable policies, rules, regulations, and codes.
Working knowledge of telemetry, data acquisition, line share devices, line
protection equipment.
Demonstrated ability and skills in the field of telecommunications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective group presentation skills.
Good human relations skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of PC and productivity software - Email, MS Office, MS Project,
Visio.
*ADDITIONAL NOTES:*
Valid driver's license is required.
Out of town travel my be required.
