Warehouse consultant (PM Level) Location: Chicago IL Duration: 3+ months
Skill profile: 1. Should have minimum 8-10 years of project management experience 2. Should be able develop an in-depth understanding of client warehouse/ channel sales characteristics and improve inventory investment performance by incorporating the information as part of the customer profile 3. Should have ability to develop and execute implementation project plans 4. Should have ability to deliver error free implementations/ roll outs 5. Should provide day to day project management/ follow-up 6. Should communicate status/ issues with clients and channel partners 7. Should deliver client channel partner education regarding roles and responsibilities 8. Analyze key trends in the context of the client’s supply chain processes to proactively identify and propose improvements for managing inventories and replenishment 9. Give direction, oversight and recommendations to clients on how to improve their Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Supply Channel Optimization (SCO) programs 10. Take proactive measures to ensure that no / limited disruptions occur in the process (e.g., implementation of a new ERP system, new EDI translator, manufacturing production down time, etc.) 11. Monitor client VMI / SCO processes per operations service agreement terms and conditions 12.
