Currently I have position of Web Site Developer REQUIREMENT DETAIL: Website Developer Location: Herndon, VA Term: 4 months Must be local to VA as F2F interview. This position is for a short term candidate with strong web site development skills. Previous proven success with complex projects is a must. The primary purpose of this position is to design, develop, and implement a website for a technical operations/support organization, serving combined purposes of wiki, intranet, and knowledge base. Candidates must be proficient in current HTML standards, .NET, XML, CSS, Java, ASP, SharePoint, Active Directory, Flash, and SQL. Must be expert with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with the following is a plus: BMC Remedy; wiki development platforms; PERL; PHP; Flash; Apache; network management systems and tools; knowledge management; in-depth database work; and social networking applications in the enterprise. Candidate will work with business team to transform customer requirements into well-integrated solutions. Drive UI design and usability innovation. Create pertinent documentation associated with software development (release notes, test reports, etc.). Partner with systems administrators to test and move developed or modified applications into production. Must have web development experience (usability, layout) and hands-on enterprise development and design experience. Must know how to optimize all formats for online viewing. Must have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to work independently, as well as within and across teams. Must be an excellent analytical thinker, as well as an effective and pragmatic problem solver. Must be local.
