Hi Sr. Informatica Consultant with Unstructured Data Objects (UDO) Exp Duration: 4 months + Location: Boston MA
MUST be Local to Boston MA or in driving distance - Face-Face interview is Required The position of Senior Informatica Consultant is for an IT professional who has approx 10 years of IT experience and at least 5 years of experience in design and development of data movement and data transformation programs using Informatica PowerCenter 8.x. The applicant should have an in-depth working experience of relational data bases such as Oracle and dealing with unstructured data sources, like flat file, excel, pdf etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for preparing the technical design specifications from the business requirements 2. Responsible for the design and development of ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter 8.x 3. Responsible for developing database applications using Oracle, Pl/Sql and UNIX shell scripts 4. Work with the users to collect and understand the requirements 5. Excellent Customer facing skills 6. Responsible for communicating with other IT groups in collecting the requirements and also implementing the applications. 7. Manages the integrity and reliability of the data. 8. Develop and maintain the detailed project documentation QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Expert in designing and developing the ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter 8.x under UNIX and Oracle environment * MUST 2. Experience in working with informatica UDO objects * MUST 3. Highly knowledgeable in data warehousing concepts and technologies - MUST 4. In depth experience in dimensional and normalized modelling - MUST 5. In depth experience with client server applications and architectures * MUST 6. In depth hands on experience in Oracle * MUST 7. In depth understanding and development experience using SQL, Pl/Sql and UNIX scripting languages * MUST 8. Proficiency with the Windows Server and UNIX operating systems - MUST 9. Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior business and technical IT management * MUST 10. Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities * MUST 11. Informatica experience in working with DB2 database * PREFERRED 12. Informatica administration and performance tuning experience * PREFERRED 13. General experience with business applications in the areas of supply chain management, production control and finance * PREFERRED 14.
