(Solaris with an Oracle database) Minimum 3year experience - Documentum
Archive Services for SAP and Content Services for SAP (5.3 and above) Scope
of Work The contracted resource, an EDM Functional Analyst, will: support
several on-going Documentum projects in the areas of Human Resources and
Power Generation provide production Documentum problem resolution support
facilitate production optimization efforts, change requests and
optimizations of CLIENTs enterprise document management system (EDM) under
the direction of a CLIENT Employee.
The duration of the assignment is expected to be until 03/31/2010. The
Districts document management system is Documentum 5.3 with an upgrade to
Documentum 6.5 SPx likely occurring during the period of the expected
engagement.
To date CLIENT has implemented EDM in Legal, Supply Chain Services, Audit
and Quality Services, and Accounting departments, and parts of Human
Resources, Customer Services, and Power Generation.
Many of these documents have links to SAP using either Archive Link or DMS.
A customized version of Webtop running on Apache Tomcat is the primary
end-user interface.
The District has also deployed McLaren Software for Drawings management to
several engineering groups. Archived SAP data is also retained in
Documentum.
The main technology areas that will be addressed through this request are:
Documentum 5.3 SP2, *Captiva* 5.2, linkages to SAP 4.7 (upgrade to ECC 6
completing in May), and integration with SAP Portal 6.
These technology areas represent the large majority of the foreseeable task
work that may result from this contract. The tasks may comprise any
combination of the listed technologies.
A successful contractor must possess expertise to be able to support
*EMC*Documentum and supporting technologies.
