*NYC - **Local Consultants ONLY** Length -7 Months* *Project Manager* Project Summary and Position Overview To support the definition phase of the TDCR project in the Americas. The position is required to support discovery, planning, and execution of multiple data center closures. The individual will then oversee all workstreams associated with the closure of data centers, and will coordinate all required efforts from a high-level, ensuring compliance with existing governance framework and providing overall ownership for closure projects. This position is approved for one year. There is a yearly review of projects and if the project is deemed, successful then an extension would most likely be approved. We are looking for long-term contractors. Day-to Day Responsibilities - Must have prior data center relocation experience. - Set up and manage virtual project teams through collaboration with Tech Ops managers and resources in order to manage projects. - Work with internal/external functional units with appropriate communications in order to gather requirements and dependencies for server and network relocations. - Approve, or validate, and distribute technical design decisions with input from stakeholders in an effort to come up with the best solutions for relocations. - Develop project plans and schedules with input from project team members in order to properly set expectations with stakeholders. - Manage projects through the full lifecycle using established processes and tools in accordance with managerial requirements. - Detect and manage project risks using best practices to inform stakeholders of the possible project pit falls while working to alleviate said risks. - Manage project budgets by influencing decision making while tracking expenditures in order to stay on a set budget. - Submit status reports to varying levels of management via established tool sets and templates in order to inform stakeholders throughout the project. - Candidate should have high level of coordination. PMO – project governance model. - They should have high level of program/project ability process.
