REQUIREMENT DETAIL: Role: C# Developer Location: Chicago, IL Contract Length: 6-9 months There will be a technical phone interview with the team lead and then a face to face (Local Only) Required Skills/# of Years: Must have at least 4 years experience programming with .NET languages and heavy C# up to the present (VB.net is the secondary skill but ASP.net is not what they are looking for) Oracle Database experience with expert level PL/SQL programming skills or SQL Server Database experience with heavy SQL Programming skills Must have solid understanding RDMBS be able to explain the concepts (see point above) Must have experience developing in Agile/Waterfall Methodology VB 6.0 programming skills are strongly desired (Does not have to be up to the present but need to feel comfortable working in legacy VB code as there will be some work in that legacy required) Desired Skills: Ideally would like someone with experience working in the Financial Industry, preferably up to the present Prefer someone who has experience with Crystal Reports-strongly desired MQ Series or experience with comparable messaging tool Description of Project: This person will be responsible for taking the desired functionality from two similar systems and building the best practices of the system that is being retired and building them into the system that is going to remain. This is working on the Merrill Lynch Transition (moving off a Merrill Collateral Mmgt System and building out the clients system further) The Algo Collateral system is used to monitor and enforce collateral agreements for derivative transactions to insure risk is managed properly.
