Role: Siebel eConfigurator Location: Bothell, WA Duration: 6 -12 months Summary of Project: Siebel department maintains, develops and supports a Siebel 7.8 instance to support Healthcare Imaging systems and Ultrasound business in USA and Canada. Primary functions supported in Siebel product eConfigurator, pricing, quote, orders, CRM and Siebel Analytics. Description of Assignment: Primary assignment is Healthcare’s Global Pricing Project on a Siebel 7.8 platform. Primary focus quote, eConfigurator, pricing and orders. On an exception basis, provide tier 3 support for production when problems cannot be resolved by tier 2. Deliverables: • Recommend Siebel processes and configurations necessary to support business requirements • Develop technical specifications • Configure and customize Siebel Quotes, Orders, and Product Configurators as required • Develop and maintain custom-built procedures using eScripts and PL/SQL Knowledge and Experience: • 5 to 7 years of technical development experience in design, configuration and deployment of Siebel Quotes and Orders with product configurator. • 3 to 5 years experience in customizing the Siebel 7.7+ asset-based and non-asset based product configurator workflows • 3 to 5 years experience in customizing the Siebel 7.7+ production configurator including web templates, JavaScript and custom Configurator User Interfaces. • 3 to 5 years experience in developing custom pricing procedures • 3 to 5 years experience in configuring Siebel 7.7+ pricing procedures using out of the box product promotions, eligibility and compatibility • 5 to 7 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL and stored procedures • Acted as a technical lead in at least one major Siebel deployment with primary responsibility in Order Management using custom pricing routines • 5 to 7 years of related business experience in supporting Order Management (Quote & Order) and product configurations in Siebel Sales and Marketing Management Skills: Excellent self organization, attention to detail, ability to provide guidance to other technical development staff. Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English Problem Solving Capabilities: This is a senior position, must have proven track record of investigation, trouble shooting and resolution of complex problems. Primary areas of focus: pricing, eConfigurator, quotes and orders. Responsibility: Specific project tasks will be assigned with each phase of the project. Responsible to design and build upon existing pricing functionality to add Global Pricing Project requirements. This requires modification of functionality for Purchasing Agreements, quote pricing, quote approvals, quote to order and order pricing. Personal Characteristics: Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing business needs. Clear communication to both functional and technical staff.
