Assists in the assessment of technical viability of new products and technologies. Works with developers and infrastructure specialists to pilot and evaluate new technologies. Participates in development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Significant creativity is required. Minimum 3 years related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Responsibilities:* System integration and development* Write, modify and debug software for client applications* Use source debuggers and visual development environments* Write code to create single-threaded or user interface event-driven applications, either stand-alone and/or those which access servers or services* Test and document software for client applications Required:* Familiarity with Lombardi Blueprint and Team works deployment* BPM Process Development experience* 3-5 years experience with software development leadership* Hands on experience with iterative method or other similar RAD-based methods* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and process design tools* 3+ years experience with J2EE, database design (Oracle) Strong written and verbal communication skills Has developed and executed a full spectrum of tests on multiple applications and environments. * Has participated in all aspects of user acceptance testing and load/performance testing. Can discuss issues and considerations for testing client/server and web-based applications. Candidate must be highly motivated and ready to provide outstanding application development skills and support to the user community. Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be willing to learn new skills and share knowledge as needed. Is experienced with System Integration Testing and Performance testing on complex, multi-platform, distributed applications. * Can discuss considerations for selecting optimal testing environment for specific applications.
