Role: Web Developer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months Contract Cient is seeking qualified Web developers and Technical writers. The responsibilities for this position will be split between Intranet development (85%) and technical writing (15%); The successful candidate will work on a highly visible web/documentation project spanning multiple departments. Major job duty is content creation for web project. Technical Skills: Minimum of 3 years of web development and graphic design experience; Strong proficiency in C# development using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005; Thorough knowledge of SQL Server 2005; Intranet development using C#, SQL Server, Java Script and HTML; Experience integrating Active Directory and Microsoft Message Queue into applications; Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Word); Adobe Acrobat; General Skills: Customer focused * must be able to make good business decisions that support business objectives and meet the customer's expectations; Collaborative skills * must be able to work constructively with others; the ability to multi-task and to interview subject matter experts are essential to this job. Additional Skills that would be Helpful: Adobe Photoshop; Lotus Notes All candidates should meet the following requirements: Web developer for Customer Service projects and small work items. A minimum of 2-3 years of intranet development experience. Strong knowledge of .Net Development. Experience working with scripting languages such as Javascript and VBscript. In-depth expertise developing for Windows 2000 and XP platforms. Familiarity with configuring IIS.
