*DESCRIPTION: *This candidate must be a senior level technologist who will provide technology direction and leadership to a key initiative to create a web application and framework that will provide an external interface for customer for their training experiences. The application will provide a central location for the delivery of on-line traning opporunities as well as an interaction with off line training events. A key success factor of this project is to provide an exceptional user interface experience that will promote a career long relationship with. ** The candidate will join the visual design partner to complete the technical design for the solution to provide technical leadership and prepare the staffing plan for the implementation effort. ** The selected candidate will be responsible for the following: * Ensure the integrity of the user experience design is maintained during the implementation planning and identify any necessary deviations in technology to meet business user requirements. * Drive the technology decisions in regards to platform selection, hosting direction, and implementation approach. * Plan and provide technical leadership in technology selection, platform design and specification development for software development project with consideration to MD&D leverage opportunities and adherence to company guidelines. * Partner with all stakeholders to ensure project success (ITS, EES, Design Vendor) * Participate in the creation of all technology documentation necessary to meet the Solution Delivery QA review requirements * Generate a project staffing plan from GS for implementation * Provide input and guidance to the deployment plan * Proactively Identify, escalate, and provide resolution plans for project issues ** Must be an on-site resource. ** *REQUIRED: * ** Excellent communication and technical leadership skills ** JNJ technology platform experience for externally facing application and infrastructure considerations ** .NET Application Architecture Design & Construction ** Project Resource Planning ** Legacy Application Integration Experience ** Flash Integration Expertise ** *DESIRED SKILLS: * ** Learning Management System (LMS) Integration ** EMEA Advantus Plus Integration Experience ** SCORM Standard for eLearning ** JAVA Open Source
