Description: Looking for a Sr. QA Engineer (Data Validation/ETL) for testing of ETL piece of data processing applications. (Oracle, UNIX and Windows platforms). Need someone with a minimum of 5-7 years experience testing and test management in a data-centric environment such as healthcare services. Must have experience testing and resolving the complex issues associated with a quality assurance in a large application that processes large datasets per day. Healthcare or Clinical background is a plus. Looking for technically very strong, Senior QA, who can do the design and test strategy for data validation as well as the performance test. Experienced in working in multiple projects. Must be expert in SQL writing. Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience is full life cycle software testing & test management. Data analysis o Demonstrated the ability to learn and teach the painstaking details associated with complex relationships in data. o Strong knowledge of relational databases o Expert and experienced in writing complex SQL queries from the scratch. o Proven scripting skills in a UNIX scripting language (UNIX, Korn, Perl) o Knowledge of Industrial ETL tools, preferably Informatica. o Knowledge of scheduling tools, preferably AppWorx. o Knowledge of TOAD. Test Management o Complete understanding of the QA process and methodology, SDLC, Defect Tracking processes, and etc. This includes: Unit, Functional, Load, Automation, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing o Experienced with Quality Center o Experience doing traceability matrixes and test reports o Ability to analyze requirements for testability and produce adequate test coverage. o Ability to create/review comprehensive test artifacts (test plans, test cases, bug reports, etc.) o Capable of enhancing/developing a regression process/framework with minimal direction Lead responsibilities o Commit to dates o Raise risks in time o Able to assess the priority and severity of issues o Accurately estimate tasks and make sure your team meets deadlines Interpersonal l Skills o Strong communication skills (oral and written) o Able to work independently and in team environments o Able to assess the priority and severity of issues o Ability to translate testing issues to management Thanks & Regards, Angela Thomas Account Manager - Data Group Inc.
