Description:

 

Business analyst with DOORS, Quality Center and Telelogic change and strong 
process background.

 

New requirement for B/A for Telelogic & QTP tool implementation. 

 

This is a 5 month contract in the western suburbs of the Philadelphia area. 

 

Must have superb communication skills. 

 

Telelogic Tool Implementation Architect / Business Analyst

 

Position Summary:

 

Serve duties listed in the definition and implementation of development tools.  
Perform a role equivalent to a Business Analyst, and Tool implementation 
architect based on existing processes.

 

Major Duties: 

 

  a.. Learn and be able to share in general users terms the application 
architecture of our implementation of DOORS 
  b.. Collect, define, and design requirements for Development Tools (DOORS, 
Quality Center, and CHANGE) 
  c.. Learn customers work practices/processes and translate to tool 
application structure definition without the customer needing to know the inner 
working of the tools 
  d.. Lead efforts to resolve design and implementation conflicts between teams 
  e.. Facilitate the introduction of DOORS to the teams. 
  f.. Present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes 
rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding 
  g.. Serve as liaison between groups to develop policies, methods, and 
procedures in working with the requirements management tool 
  h.. Research available information and standards, develop process, 
communicate process direction in relation to the implementation and use of the 
tools 
  i.. Develop process for areas of change management relating to requirements 
  j.. Facilitate meetings in multiple mediums, live, over the phone and use 
webinars 
  k.. Meet with users from all level, disciplines, and locations. 
  l.. Conduct change control board meetings 
  m.. Document decisions, requirements, direction, and processes 
  n.. Direct information to administration team for implementation 
  o.. Collect feedback from trials and resolve open issues 
  p.. Create potential solutions to identified issues 
  q.. Self Manage and pace work to meet/beat schedule 
  r.. Authoring documentation into common formats using various office software 
tools 
  s.. Perform other duties as assigned. 
 

Key Skills/Knowledge: 

 

  a.. Use and functionality of a Requirements Management Tool - preferably 
DOORS 
  b.. Use and functionality of a work flow tool to manage change requests - 
preferably CHANGE 
  c.. Requirements gathering 
  d.. Working team facilitation 
  e.. Process / work methodology analysis 
  f.. Change Management 
  g.. Facilitation and training of large diverse groups 
  h.. Problem solving 
  i.. Implementing new work methodology within user groups 
  j.. Excellent oral and written communications 
  k.. Managing, organizing and processing simultaneous tasks and activities 
  l.. Solid understanding of Project Life Cycles 
  m.. Proven ability to work independently and interact with business 
professionals at all levels
