Infrastructure Project Manager Location: Minneapolis, MN Length: 6 months Position Responsibilities: Gathers and further refines technical project requirements. Drives technical solution of the project with Architecture. Prioritizes efforts/tasks for Core Services resources. Develops detailed technical project plans and schedules. Reviews project plans developed by project managers. Determines resource requirements and forms project teams. Integrates development of best practices, project standards, procedures and quality objectives including metrics for assessing progress. Utilizes established project standards, procedures and quality objectives. Conducts technical project kickoff meetings, communicating individual roles and project/program expectations. Ensures that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively. Provides work direction and leadership to assigned resources, including scheduling, assignment of work, review of project efforts, and audit of project processes. Monitors and audits project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule. Identifies ways to resolve schedule issues. Keep stakeholders aware of project issues and risks. Provides required project status reporting. Assesses variances from the program and project plans, analyzes metrics, and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost and quality objectives. Conducts formal review with business sponsor and PM at the completion of the project. Evaluates client satisfaction levels.
