*Program/Project:* Trade Monitoring Project
Standard Role Definition:
*Team Leadership/Experienced Consultant*
*Roles may include: process design lead, process efficiency consultant lead,
and process architect – medium engagements. Experienced industry
practitioner based on multiple engagements with different environments and
challenges. Role may include team leadership in some engagements.
Responsibilities may include: preparation and review of complex process
definitions; implementation support for redesigned processes.*
Duration: 6 - 12 months
*Location:* Houston, TX
Local Resident Requested – no Paid Expenses offered
*Experience and Qualifications:*
- Extensive experience in the business analysis area
- Process oriented. Someone who can do "swim lane" diagrams, process
flows, etc...
- Extremely skilled at extracting requirements from end-users (who do
not speak IT)
- Trading Industry Knowledge - Required
- Market data Familiarity – Required
(i.e. ICE data, NYMEX data, such as -- commodity, high price, low
price, settlement price, trading date, etc....)
- Compliance Knowledge – Preferred
(i.e. how to monitor for market abuse, how to meet legislative
requirements set out by SEC, CFTC, FERC, etc.)
- Able to extract clarity from vague situations
- Self-starter, deadline-focused (i.e. able to meet project targets)
- Able to manage other resources, create tasks lists (i.e. project
plans) and monitor progress for BA area
*Position Description - Accountabilities:*
- Business Analysis Deliverables including but not limited to
Requirements Gathering and Documentation, Project Delivery
Framework (Stage
Gate) mandatory controls and requirements.
- Process review and documentation (i.e. "swim lane" diagrams, process
flows, etc.)
- Stakeholder engagement
- Data Analysis
- Progress Monitoring (including project plan updates, status
reporting, task lists, etc.)
- Able to manage other resources, create tasks lists (i.e. project
plans) and monitor progress for BA area
