Need Local to East Coast In-Person Required Java Developer with GWT/GXT Location: King of Prussia, PA Rate - Open Duration - 4+ months could extend to 1 yr MUST have experience with: TDD (test driven development), EJB 3.0, Google Web Tools (GWT)/ GXT and UI. Communication skills must be excellent. Locals Consultants Preferred. The primary responsibilities are: * Analyze systems, design, and implementation tactics across aspects of a project. * Write and test computer programs from specifications. * Responsible for communicating the status of tasks assigned to the Manager of the project. * Responsible for the creation and execution of the Unit Test cases for each coding assignment. * Responsible for solving technical problems for a project. Software coding is the primary responsibility. * Execute the software development activities contained within the software development plan. * Provide system level analysis, design and documentation as requested by the Manager of Applications Development. * Perform program maintenance as directed by the Manager of Applications Development. The candidate should have the following experience: * Four-year college degree or equivalent. * At least three-years experience with Java development. * Ability to work independently and creatively with a minimum of direct supervision. * Ability to identify and create plans to resolve issues. * Ability to communicate and work effectively with others. * Ability to plan, organize, implement, identify problems and resolutions, adjust, evaluate work performed by self in a complex and dynamic work environment. * Must be able to display proficiency in the use of SQL DML/DDL. * Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following skills: JAVA, EJB 3.0, JSP, JAVA Script, Web services, Hibernate, JBoss or equivalent containers. * Tool experience in Eclipse, Maven, and Ant preferred. * Experience on one project with GWT/GXT UI frameworks and TDD/automated testing techniques with Junit, EJB3Unit and any continuous integration such as CruiseControl strongly preferred.
