*Clients require the services of a very experienced Business Objects
Consultant/ Architect to work full-time on an SAP project. * **

*Client has been on SAP for 2.5 years and is currently using BW. * **
* * **
*This project involves revaluating the current design that has been
implemented at Clients and performing a formal Gap Analysis for 2 affiliate
companies that are considering migrating to SAP. * **
* * **
*As part of this project, Clients is implementing Business Objects. The
Business Objects consultant will lead the work on the design and
implementation of the Business Objects landscape at Clients. It will also
include training the Clients team of BI analysts and developers on Business
Objects. In addition, the consultant will work as part of the team on the
Gap Analysis, analyzing the report requirements for the 2 affiliate
companies and recommending the appropriate reporting tools to use for each
report, and prototyping a sample of them. * **

*The consultant should have substantial prior project experience in: * **
* * **
*- business intelligence requirements gathering and report
specifications * **
*- technical installation and integration of Business Objects XI
3.x with SAP ECC/SAP BW and third party systems * **
*- implementing BOBJ solutions, enabling integration with various
data sources including SAP ERP systems, data marts and custom grown data
warehouses * **
*- ETL processes to load data from multiple systems using BOBJ Data
services * **
*- change management that involves the use of both Import Wizard
and LifeCycle Manager * **
*- reporting tools including WEBI, Crystal reports 2008, XCELSIUS
2008, BoE Info View and Voyager * **
*- development tools including Universe Builder and components
including Live Office, Query as a Web Service * **
*- backend tools including Data Integrator, Data Quality, and
Metadata Management * **
*- testing BOBJ solutions and knowledge of using testing solutions
* **
* * **
*It would be highly desirable that the consultant have prior experience
working as a Business Objects consultant on Aerospace and Defense SAP
manufacturing implementations. * **

*The consultant must have excellent leadership and communication skills and
be able to work effectively in a team environment. They must also be able
to work flexible hours if required to meet the project schedule. * **
* * **
Consultant Tasks:* * **
* * **
*The consultant, who will report to the Project Manager, will be required
to: * **
* * **
*· validate the current design for the Business Objects landscape * *
*
*· assist with the installation of Business Objects * **
*· train the BI Analysts and Developers on the Business Objects tools
* **
*· provide documentation on how to use each of the tools * **
*· as part of the Gap Analysis, evaluate the report requirements for
Clients and the 2 affiliate companies and make recommendations for the best
tools to use for each report requirement * **
*· build a sample of reports and queries to demo to the stakeholders
* **
*· lead functional workshops on the reporting tools * **
*· work with the Project Manager to identify and mitigate risks and
resolve issues * **
*· perform other Business Objects and reporting related tasks that
are required to ensure that the project is completed successfully and on
schedule * **

*Client is currently on ECC 6.0, Enterprise Portal 7.0, and BW 7.0. It has
implemented the following SAP modules: MM, SD, FI, CO, PS, HR, Payroll,
CATS, PP, QM, DM, and WM modules. * **
